I’m behind in posting updates, so I’ll at least link to our June newsletter, which contains a lot of recent updates including details about our milestone 500,000th diaper we distributed earlier this month — that’s 1/2 million diapers since April 27, 2009!

I’ll be sure to put more recent updates up again soon! Thanks for reading!

How much money did you spend today? Maybe you got a cup of coffee for $3.50, bought lunch for $11.34 and then picked up a new pair of shoes on the way home for $58.60. What if you could round up each of those purchases to the nearest dollar, and donate the spare change to the Detroit Area Diaper Bank?

Well, our newest partner, SwipeGood, allows you to do just that: maximize your loose change for a good cause – like the Diaper Bank! And while the resulting $1.56 from today might now sound like a little, it could add up to over $20 in donations over the course of the month – without any extra work on your part.

But don’t take our word for it – go ahead and take SwipeGood for a test drive. All you have to do is go to our page on SwipeGood and sign up your credit or debit card. SwipeGood rounds up your purchases to the next dollar, and lets you donate the change to the Detroit Area Diaper Bank. You can even cap your monthly donations, so you are in complete control of the amount of money you donate each month.

How good will it feel to go about your every day shopping knowing that each purchase will help bring clean, dry diapers to babies and seniors in need? I can tell you it feels great – like you have a warm halo over your head.

So what are you waiting for? Learn more, enroll your credit or debit card today and help change the world around you, one purchase at a time.

About author

The Detroit Area Diaper Bank was a 501c3 charity that provided diapers to nonprofit organizations in Southeast Michigan from 2009-2014. No federal assistance programs pay for or provide diapers, not WIC, Food Stamps or Medicare. Diapers are a huge hole in the "safety net" for our youngest and oldest neighbors in need. Please continue to donate and make a difference with diapers in Metro Detroit!
